You never hear about a mechanic looking out for the customer most of the time! I can sleep easy knowing that I have a mechanic that wants to do the right thing for his customer. Don't believe BMW when they say they have solved the toasted valve stem seal issues on their V8 engines with twin turbos in the V-space. 80Kmi and they are toast. Brian has photos of them. He did the repair using the AGA tool set on my 2014 X50i with the N63TU engine after it failed CA smog due to visible smoke at idle. Rich and Brian are good guys and I will go to them when I need walnut shell blasting of the intake valves in a few years.
