I had my 2005 Acura TL serviced by Evan at my husband's suggestion, and because of it, my car has never run better. I was faithful to the Acura service department for the past 9 years I've owned my car until now. Evan kept me updated throughout the process and even verified for me that services highly recommended by Acura were unnecessary (I was told my brakes needed replacing by Acura; Evan found that my brakes had plenty of life left). He is the ultimate professional, and I will seek Evan at Performance Autowerk for all of my vehicle's service needs from now on.

Performance Autowerk is now my to-go place for my BMW 535i. Evan (the owner) is a very nice and knowledgeable guy. He helped me on a vehicle check before my thanksgiving road trip. Detail oriented and patient. Explained to me part by part. He is not like some other shops that always trying to get you repair something unnecessary. The place is clean. One big plus for me. I m happy that i found this shop. We need more people like Evan in the business.

Found a BMW I was interested in buying so again I looked to Yelp for someone in the local area who knew German cars. I came across Evan at Performance Autowerks and he was very happy and flexible to take a look at it the following morning. The first thing I noticed about Evan and his shop is that he takes great pride in his work. His shop is very clean and he took the time and effort to create an appealing brand for his company. After the seller dropped the car off, Evan and I immediately went for a test drive. Just the way he was talking about the car while he was driving it, I could tell he had an expansive knowledge of BMWs. He pinpointed several things he noticed right away along with information about things to consider when buying a BMW or other German cars for that matter.When we got back, he raised the car up in his shop and did a full and thorough inspection. He pointed out the good and the bad as well as offering up preventative tips in the event I did buy the car. Evan knows European cars and I wouldn't hesitate to use him if you want someone who cares and also knows what they are doing. Definitely well worth the cost to do the inspection. I'll be taking all my German vehicles to Evan in the future.

I brought my BMW M5 to Evan recently after experiencing problems with my charging system and water pump. When my car needs professional help, I'm very selective about who I take it to. Evan at Performance Autowerk is the last guy that will ever work on my car. He's meticulous and and CLEAN. He took the time to show me what went wrong. Everything is done the right way the first time, quickly, cleanly, and fairly priced. Their knowledge of the BMW cars made me feel like I was leaving my baby in the hands of enthusiasts, not just another mechanic working for a paycheck. My car is going back to Evan this week for suspension and steering adjustments.

If I didn't have Evan as a resource it would literally change how I buy cars. I've now owned three used Audis that he has worked on. My first, a 2000 A4 1.8T, a 2005 S4 and now an 2008 S5. He has kept all of them on the road and running perfectly and without breaking the bank. He gives honest advise, does flawless work and his level of knowledge is second to none. While Evan specializes in German automobiles I was left with no other option than to take my Mitsubishi Eclipse to him after another independent mechanic as well as the dealership in Livermore both caused more damage than good to the vihicle. I have heard of Evan's meticulousness and talent so my ill feelings of shotty mechanics was very minimal from the get go. The car was dropped off over night by AAA and by about 10 am my phone was ringing with the initial diagnosis and general estimate. As everything progressed I was updated very regularly. After everything was said and done the car now runs better than ever. Having to spend $1000 on a vehicle that is only worth about $3500 was actually more pleasurable than I could have expected thanks to Performance Autowerk

I took my Land Rover into Performance for a few maintenance related issues (brakes, tires, drivetrain, service, belts, etc..). I ended up getting so much more done to my car. I met Evan when he worked at M Service in Walnut Creek and I've tracked him down over the years because I trust him. I bought my last car (BMW e46) because I knew he could service and fix it. There is nothing like good customer service. Evan called me almost everyday giving me updates (price and timeframes). I feel if you need anything related to an Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover or Range Rover you should call Performance Autowerk, Evan does clean honest work. It is super close to Dublin side of the Stoneridge BART station.
